Zvi Bodie
Zvi Bodie is the Norman and Adele Barron Professor of Management at Boston University. He holds a Ph.D from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has served on the finance faculty at the Harvard Business School and MIT's Sloan School of Management.
Professor Bodie has published widely on pension finance and investment strategy in leading professional journals. His books include Foundations of Pension Finance, Pensions in the U.S. Economy, Issues in Pension Economics, and Financial Aspects of the U.S. Pension System.
His textbook, Investments, coauthored by Alex Kane and Alan Marcus, is the market leader and is used in the certification programs of the CFA Institute and the Society of Actuaries. His textbook Finance is coauthored by Nobel Prize winning economist, Robert C. Merton. His latest book is Worry Free Investing: A Safe Approach to Achieving Your Lifetime Financial Goals. In 2007 the Retirement Income Industry Association gave him their Lifetime Achievement in Applied Retirement Research Award.
George Chacko
George Chacko is a Managing Partner and the Chief Investment Officer of 6S Capital.
Prior to joining 6S Capital, George Chacko was a Professor of Finance at Harvard Business School where his work focused on transaction costs and liquidity risk in capital markets, portfolio construction by institutions and individuals, and the analysis and application of derivative securities. He also has been a Managing Director at Trinsum Group, Managing Director of Fixed Income at State Street Global Markets, and has held other positions at Goldman Sachs and Prudential.
Prof. Chacko also has published widely in the finance and economics fields.
He received his PhD and Masters in Business Economics from Harvard University, his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
H. K. Bud Hebeler
H. K. Bud Hebeler is author of J.K. Lasser's Your Winning Retirement Plan, Getting Started in a Financially Secure Retirement, and retirement articles on www.analyzenow.com. He is often quoted in The Wall Street Journal and other financial publications. He also contributes the Ask Bud Column to NewRetirement.
Mr. Hebeler is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from which he has three degrees. Most of his working career was at The Boeing Company where he began as an engineer, worked his way through financial analysis, procurement, sales, corporate long range planning, and ultimately became president of Boeing Aerospace Company in Seattle, WA. For six years he was Boeing's chief forecaster and planner reporting to the chairman. He has taken courses from Nobel prize winners in economics. He has been on advisory committees to the U.S. Congress, Departments of Interior, Commerce, Energy, and Defense, an economic advisor to the Washington State governor and a member of Washington's Economic Development Council. He has served on the Board of Governors of MIT's Sloan School and other colleges. Mr. Hebeler has been working with retirees for many years, developed special material for their use, and given numerous seminars on retirement. His current focus is dissemination of sound financial planning information that applies to a wide range of personal investment, economic and income situations.
