Generally, if you own the land on which your mobile home is situated, then you can qualify for a Reverse Mortgage.

The basic guidelines for a manufactured home to qualify are:

Must be on an FHA approved permanent foundation. This can be completed and paid for through the process of a reverse mortgage if it is not.

You must own the land under your home and it must be taxed as real property (433a).

It must be manufactured after June 1976. Homes built prior to this date are inelligible.
