Buying a home on retirement income | | I am about to retire and will need to buy my first home. I need advice on getting help in how to purchase a home. I am a state employee and was provided free housing as part of my job. Now I will have to move out soon and want to know if thier is federal funding for retired worker. Reverse Mortgages may now be used to purchase a home. No credit or income requirements. Depending on your age, youll probably need about 30-40% down.
