Co-op Reverse Mortgage
Reverse Mortgage for a Co-op. I have been told Co-ops are not eligible.. Is there any other way for me t obtain a Reverse Mortgage?

Althugh this topic has been discussed for many years and we in the industry have been told more than a few times that approval is "right around the corner", co-ops are still not eligible for FHA insured reverse mortgages (HECM's). Generation Mortgage does have a proprietary reverse mortgage called GenPlus. It might be worth contacting them to see if they will accept co-op types of ownership. Login to rate this answer:
