QUESTION:
Energize by Volunteering
Now sixty-five, and having worked full time almost all of my adult life except for a brief few years when my children were pre-schoolers, I am finally giving myself space to take on some volunteer work in the community and in my church. It feels like rain coming into a dry garden. The rewards are deep and unexpected.
I will continue to do paid work into my retirement years, but it will be accompanied by avocational work and social activism as well from now on.
