Going on vacation? Try to find lodging on VRBO.com (Vacation Rentals by Owner). You can find great deals and stay in nice places. On VRBO.com you will find homes that are being rented directly by the owners.

My wife and I stayed in a fantastic house in Tahoe for about half the price of a similar home that was being leased through a broker.

We are actually considering putting our own house on the service and renting it out when we ourselves are away on vacation in someone elses' house.

Does anyone have experience with renting their own house?
