Hello Aileen,

Since you were married for more than ten years, you can receive benefits on your ex-husband's record. The benefits are treated more or less like standard spousal benefits, in that you receive normally half of his benefit amount unless your own benefit amount is greater. You can only receive benefits from him if you did not remarry.
