QUESTION:
Refunding SS Benefits
I started getting my "full retirement" SSS benefits when I became eligible at 65 + 4months. At age 66, I retired on a Civil Service pension (plus a reduction in SSS benefits). I am now 69 + 4months, and am considering repaying all SSS benefits in order to get increased SSS benefits after age 70. Is there a calculator I can use to evaluate this idea? Can I even do this at this late date?
