Retirement qualification

When can I retire? I am 60 years old and have 163 months of service, I quit in 1998 and drew out my retirement. I have about 5 1/2 years of retiremnt paid in now. When will I be eligible to retire and keep my insurance?

It would probably be best to talk with your human resources department. Insurance is indeed an extremely important consideration when considering retirement before Medicare eligibility.
