Want to know about benefits for divorced spouses.

I was married for 22 years and he just died recently so I want to know what I have to do to collect on his retirement. He lived in Maine and I live in N.H.

I believe that all you need to do is to contact your local Social Security office with his Social Security number.

They should be able to advise you.
