question

My ex(never married) and I have a 9 yr old daughter together. He recently filed for disability. He has never paid me child support except for almost a year. Neither of us have custody papers....she lives with me...and visits him. He asked me not to take him to court when we split because he had just signed over parental rights to another child..and did not want to be drug into court again. He calle dme today and told me that he needed her BC and I asked if he needed our address so her check could come. He told me NO that the check would come to him because the DISABILITY place told him that he would be responsible for it. WOuld her check not come to our home since I am her mother and she physically lives with me?

I am sorry, but this is outside the realm of NewRetirement's expertise. You might contact the appropriate government office and ask your question there.
