unemployment benefits

I am working full time and all collecting full retirement benefits. If I get laid off,can I collect unemployment benefits? I really need to work (son has mental problems in hospital)

In order to ensure that you are eligeable for unemployment benefits, you should contact your local state unemployment office. A good place to start would be the following site:
