i am asking the qustion pertaining to chargeoffs. will it effect me in any way meaning will they come in and put a stop on my checking account.
Mabbenti,A "Charge off" generally means that the creditor has written this debt off as a loss and is not directly pursuing action to collect those monies. These should not affect your ability to get a reverse mortgage, nor does it have anything to do with your checking account. I hope this helps.Steven
