    If I buy an annuity with assets in a ROTH IRA are the proceeds completely tax exempt?

    Good question my gut says yes this should be tax exempt since all investments in a ROTH IRA are supposed to grow tax free. However, you should probably talk with a tax attorney and/or a fee only certified financial advisor who has a fiduciary relationship with you.
