Customer Service Representative

NewRetirement, Inc. is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our rapidly growing team helping millions make the transition to and improve quality of life in retirement.  The position involves:

  • inbound/outbound consumer phone qualification as part of our marketing services for our partners
  • limited (but potentially growing) email/chat customer support
  • additional client service and operational support tasks, as needed, to support our retirement planning and marketing referral services 

It is a full time position and will be contract to hire.  As NewRetirement is a rapidly growing company, opportunities for an expanded or advanced role will exist.

It will require being on the phone for a good portion of the day with those age 55+ so a patient and outgoing phone presence is a must.  We deal with all kinds of people, so a professional and courteous persona is important.  We also use several technology platforms to manage client relationships and process leads so you must be comfortable with computers and using software systems.

Qualifications:

Candidates must:

  • Have excellent phone skills and presence
  • Be smart, resourceful, curious and motivated 
  • Have the ability to learn quickly, multi-task and exhibit exceptional attention to detail 
  • Have strong computer skills and be familiar with Google docs 
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Financial services experience, especially concerning retirement planning and/or mortgages, is preferred but not required.

This is a remote position. Candidates can be based anywhere within the US and must be able to provide an adequate workspace, sufficient internet, and minimum hardware requirements (computer & headphones).
