Digital Marketing Analyst

NewRetirement, Inc. is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Analyst.  

This position involves a variety of digital marketing activities conducted under the supervision of and with close support from the COO and Chief of Staff.

These activities will include, but are not limited to: digital marketing campaign set up; media buying, tracking & optimization; in-house email operations; and developing new sources of paid traffic. 

The objective of this role is to grow traffic volume while at the same time maintaining or reducing the cost per visitor, increase engagement with our consumers, and increase rate of transactions conducted on our site per visit.

The position involves:

  • digital media buying
  • digital marketing campaign operations, optimization, and tracking for all sources of traffic
  • creative development of new ads and landing pages
  • email newsletter campaign management, implementation, and tracking
  • identifying, qualifying, and negotiating with new sources of traffic, both paid and non-paid
  • identifying new techniques to reach and grow our audience 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • One year of digital marketing experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Intermediate (or better) knowledge of Excel 
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Project management skills and long term planning abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Ability and desire to work autonomously
  • Basic understanding of, and interest in, search engine marketing
  • The ability and motivation to rapidly absorb new information and apply it immediately
  • BA or equivalent

We are willing to provide training and support for less experienced candidates that can demonstrate strong drive and potential.  However, the ideal candidate will have some experience or training in one or more of the following areas:

  • Experience managing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Digital advertising media planning, buying and trafficking
  • Course work or advanced degree in digital marketing methods
  • Email campaign design & management
  • Basic HTML coding
  • Ad server management
  • Project management
  • Statistics / Big Data analytics
  • Math/CS/Statistics coursework or degree also a plus.

This position is a full-time, fully remote position.   Compensation is DOE, position available immediately.
