Hi Mr. Dan,
You can learn about Fixed Annuities on the NewRetirement site here: http://www.newretirement.com/Services/Annuities.aspx
For more complex and risky Variable Annuity products you can try
- An annuity / insurance broker
Whatever you do - if you work with a financial advisor just make sure that you understand their incentives and that their incentives are in line with your goals. If you are dealing with an insurance salesperson they may have an incentive to sell you a high commission product which may not meet your goals. (not all are this way - just make sure things are transparent)
You may also want to talk with a fee only financial advisor, who only makes money when you pay them.
You can find some financial advisors here: http://www.newretirement.com/financial-advisor-marketplace.aspx
