We are looking for a Front End Senior Developer/Architect with the ability to think strategically about our UX AND who is also capable of getting the nitty gritty everyday done. The primary qualifications are intelligence, creativity, and a deep knowledge of front end web and mobile design.
This is what we are working in today:
- Front end: React, Redux, NextJS, WordPress
- Back end: NextJS, Rails, Go, SQL Server (some legacy ASP.net which we are steadily dropping) – we’re on our way to where we want to be
Must have:
- You should be an expert in React, Redux, and implementing front end designs
- You are able to roll up your sleeves to get started, learn from existing team members and build a team, internally and externally, to help you execute on the strategy we develop
- Bias to action
- Clean code
- Unit tests
Ideally you can help us:
- Think through how to further evolve our front end architecture and help us translate this to a web responsive design
- Ask great questions about why and how we do things
- Help us think through our app / mobile strategy (TBD)
Nice to have:
- You must have a background in online consumer marketing. Knowledge of personal finance and start up experience are desired.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Help our team to implement delightful, functional and beautiful designs
- Help our team instrument (fold in tools to measure) our user interaction (ex. Woopra)
